Alarm System Transmitter: Description and Operation

Panic Alarm Activation
The PANIC alarm can only be activated from the keyless entry remote transmitter. Pressing the button marked PANIC on the keyless entry remote transmitter will sound the horn and flash the low beam headlamps and the parking lamps.

If the vehicle has a Ford remote keyless entry system, but does not have an anti-theft alarm system.

The panic alarm can be activated while the anti-theft alarm system is armed or disarmed.

The PANIC alarm can only be deactivated two ways:
- Press the PANIC button again on the keyless entry remote transmitter.
- Turn the ignition switch to RUN or ACC.
