Right Front
WARNING: THE BACKUP POWER SUPPLY ENERGY MUST BE DEPLETED BEFORE ANY AIR BAG COMPONENT SERVICE IS PERFORMED. TO DEPLETE THE BACKUP POWER SUPPLY ENERGY, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY GROUND CABLE AND WAIT ONE MINUTE.
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait one minute for the backup power supply energy to be depleted.
2. Remove the three screws and the upper radiator air deflector.
3. Remove the radiator grille screw.
4. Release the five radiator grille clips and remove the radiator grille.
5. Remove the RH parking lamp upper screw.
6. Remove the RH parking lamp screw.
7. Pull the RH parking lamp away from the body, disconnect the parking lamp electrical connector, and remove the parking lamp.
8. Remove the two RH headlamp inner bolts.
9. Remove the two RH headlamp outer bolts.
10. Remove the RH headlamp nut.
11. Disconnect the headlamp bulb electrical connector and remove the RH headlamp.
12. Remove the two RH air bag sensor mounting bracket bolts.
13. Remove the two RH air bag sensor mounting bracket nuts and remove the RH air bag sensor mounting bracket.
14. Remove the four radiator bracket bolts and position the radiator to the rear.
15. Disconnect the RH front air bag sensor electrical connector.
16. Remove the three RH front air bag sensor and bracket bolts.
17. Remove the RH front air bag sensor and bracket.
Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Verify that the air bag warning indicator is operative.
