C6 - Check Wire Between Module and Front Shoulder Strap Switch

- Key OFF.

- Disconnect the passive restraint control module connector C1 (driver side inoperative) or C2 (passenger side inoperative).

- Disconnect the front shoulder strap switch connector on the inoperative side of the vehicle.

- Measure the resistance of the "Y/BL" wire (driver side inoperative) or "BL/W" wire (passenger side inoperative) between the passive restraint control module connector and ground.

- Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

YES -- Go to C7.

NO -- Service the wire in question.
