A3 - Check For Short to Ground
- Key OFF.
- Locate and disconnect the passive restraint control module connectors, instrument cluster connectors (for 15A METER fuse blown), and shift lock actuator connector.
- Locate and disconnect the interior fuse junction panel connectors C4 and C7.
- Measure the resistance between the "Y" wire (for 30A BELT fuse blown) and/or the "BK/Y" wire (for 15A METER fuse blown) between the interior fuse junction panel connector(s) and ground.
- Are the resistance(s) greater than 10,000 ohms?
YES -- Go to A4. A4 - Check Control Module Battery/Ignition Supply
NO -- Service the wire(s) in question.
