Safety Belt With Anchor Plate Thread Damage

All Locations Except Station Wagon Rear Seat
1. Remove the broken or stripped bolt and discard.
2. Drill out the remaining internal threads using a 1/2 inch drill.
3. Tap new threads using a 9/16-12 tap.
4. Install a Tridair RKKA 7/16-20 Keensert, or equivalent, following the manufacturers instructions.
5. Install the attachment parts in the proper sequence. Refer to Removal and Installation. Install a new 7/16 safety belt anchor bolt and tighten to 30-40 N.m (22-30 lb-ft).

Station Wagon Rear Seat
1. Remove the broken or stripped bolt and discard.
2. Drill out the remaining internal threads using a 1/2 inch drill.
3. Tap new threads using a M14 X 1.5 tap.
4. Install a Tridair KNM 10 X 1.5F keensert, or equivalent, following the manufacturers instructions.
5. Install the attachment parts in the proper sequence. Refer to the procedures in removal and installation. Install a new M1O safety belt anchor bolt and tighten to 30-40 N.m (22-30 lb-ft).
