Sedan, Wagon and 5 Door

Removal

1. Remove the front door scuff plate and the rear door scuff plate.
2. Remove the center body pillar inside lower finish panel.





3. Pry open the front safety belt upper guide bolt cover.





4. Remove the safety belt upper guide bolt, and front safety belt upper guide bolt cover.





5. Remove the two front safety belt lower guide bolts and remove the front safety belt lower guide from the center body pillar.





6. Remove the two front lap belt retractor bezel screws and remove the front lap belt retractor bezel.
7. Remove the two front safety belt retractor Torx bolts and the one front safety belt retractor screw.
8. Remove the front safety belt retractor and tongue.

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Tighten the front safety belt retractor and tongue bolts and the front safety belt upper guide bolt to 30-40 N.m (22-30 lb-ft).
