Removal

1. Remove the front door scuff plate.
2. Remove the quarter trim panel.





3. Pry open the front safety belt upper guide bolt cover.





4. Remove the front safety belt upper guide bolt, and front safety belt upper guide bolt cover.





5. Remove the two front safety belt lower guide bolts and remove the front safety belt lower guide.





6. Remove the front safety belt retractor and tongue anchor rod bolt.
7. Remove the front safety belt retractor Torx bolt and the front safety belt retractor screw.
8. Remove the front safety belt retractor and tongue.

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure. lighten the front safety belt retractor and tongue bolts and the front safety belt upper guide bolt to 30-40 N.m (22-30 lb-ft). Tighten the front safety belt retractor and tongue anchor rod bolt to 30-40 N.m (22-30 lb-ft).
