Fuel Injector Wiring Harness: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the inlet air duct that connects to the throttle body and engine intake air resonator.

Wiring Harness Connector:

3. Disconnect the fuel charging wiring harness electrical connectors.

Sensor:

4. Disconnect the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector located to the right of the water hose connection.
5. Disconnect the ECT sensor electrical connector located to the rear of the water hose connection.
6. Disconnect the Fuel Pressure Regulator Control (FPRC) solenoid electrical connector located on the lower intake manifold.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the High Speed Inlet Air (HSIA) solenoid.

Connector:

8. Disconnect the fuel charging wiring harness electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.

Harness:

9. Unclip the fuel charging wiring from the fuel injection supply manifold and remove the harness.
10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
