^ Go to Pinpoint Test HE and perform the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system diagnostic procedures. See Powertrain Management/Emission Control Systems/Testing and Inspection.

^ Is the EGR system OK?

YES -- Go to R6. R6 - Check Positive Ventilation (PCV) System

NO -- Service as necessary.
