^ Go to pinpoint Test HE and perform the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system diagnostic procedures.

^ Is the EGR system OK?

YES -- Go to B7. B7 - Check Cooling Fan System (Hot Start Concern Only)

NO -- Service as necessary.
