QT5 Perform Super Star II Hookup

- Verify that a failure has been detected in the ABS. (An illuminated anti-lock brake warning indicator in the KOER mode indicates a present failure. If the anti-lock brake warning indicator is not illuminated in KOER mode, but symptom exists, it may indicate a past or intermittent problem.)

- Key OFF.

- Access the data link connector located in the engine compartment.

- Connect Rotunda Super STAR II Tester 007-0041B to the data link connector using Rotunda Super MECS Adapter 007-00052.

Hooking Up Super STAR II:

- Place the adapter in the "ABS" position.

- Place the tester in the "MECS" position.

- Latch the tester to the "TEST" position.

- Is the tester connected properly?

YES -- Proceed to QT8, ABS Diagnostic Trouble Code Retrieval. QT8 Perform ABS Diagnostic Trouble Code Retrieval

NO -- Re-attempt this step. Service any faults if necessary.
