QT3 Check Anti-Lock Brake Indicator

- Turn the ignition switch ON without starting the engine.

- Does the anti-lock brake warning indicator illuminate continuously?

YES -- Normal operation. Proceed to Quick Test Step QT4. QT4 Check Warning Indicator With Engine Running

NO -- If warning indicator does not illuminate, check anti-lock brake warning indicator circuit, 15A METER fuse and miniature bulb. Go to Pinpoint Test H1. H1 Check System Integrity

If warning indicator is flashing, verify that the data link connector is not jumped (or shorted to ground) between pins "TBS" and "GND."

If warning indicator illuminates for 1.5 seconds and goes out before engine is started, low generator output. Go to Pinpoint Test Step G1. G1 Check ABS Brake Indicator Operation
