QT2 Vehicle Preparation

- Perform all of the following safety steps required to run ABS Quick Test.

- Apply the parking brake.

- Place the gear shift lever firmly into the PARK (P) position (automatic transmission) or NEUTRAL position (manual transmission).

- Block the drive wheels.

- Turn off all of the electrical loads.

- Indicators

- A/C-heater blower fans, etc.

- Have all of the safety steps been performed and all of the electrical loads turned OFF?

YES -- Proceed to Test Step QT3. QT3 Check Anti-Lock Brake Indicator

NO -- Personal safety and correct diagnostic results are dependent on Test Step QT2. Do not proceed with Quick Test if vehicle preparation cannot be performed.
