G3 Check ABS Brake Indicator Signal

- Anti-lock brake control module disconnected.

- Key ON.

- ABS relay disconnected.

- Connect the "Y/R" wire at the anti-lock brake control module and the "Y/R" wire at the anti-lock relay to ground.

- Does the anti-lock brake warning indicator illuminate when both wires are connected to ground?

YES -- Go to G4. G4 Check Grounds at ABS Control Module

NO -- If does not illuminate at all, replace the 15A METER fuse and/or warning indicator bulb if burned out. If OK, service "Y/R" wire from instrument cluster to anti-lock relay and/or anti-lock brake control module.

If illuminates only when grounded at anti-lock brake control module, service "Y/R" wire to anti-lock relay.

If illuminates only when grounded at anti-lock relay, service "Y/R" wire to anti-lock brake control module.
