Right Side

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove upper intake manifold.
3. Remove ignition coil from righthand valve cover.
4. Remove EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
5. Remove secondary air injection manifold tube.
6. Raise and support vehicle, then remove dual converter Y-pipe.
7. Remove lower exhaust manifold retaining nuts, then lower vehicle.
8. Remove upper exhaust manifold retaining nuts.
9. Remove righthand exhaust manifold and gasket from cylinder head, discard gasket.
10. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten exhaust manifold to 13-16 ft lb.
