Oil Pan: Service and Repair
1. Raise and support vehicle.2. Remove dual converter Y-pipe, then drain engine oil.
3. Remove oil pan retaining bolts from transaxle housing.
4. Remove access plug from engine rear plate.
5. Remove transaxle support bracket from oil pan and transaxle.

6. Using removal sequence shown, remove oil pan retaining bolts and stud bolts.
7. Remove oil pan and oil pan gasket.
8. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Clean oil pan and cylinder block sealing surfaces.

b. Apply a 5/16 inch bead of black silicone sealer part No. F4AZ-19562-B, or equivalent, to area shown.
c. Using tightening sequence shown, torque oil pan to cylinder block bolts to 15-22 ft lb, then torque oil pan to transaxle bolts to 25-34 ft lb.
