J4 Check Instrument Cluster For Speed Signal

- Disconnect instrument cluster connector C1.

Connector:

- Using an ohmmeter, Rotunda 73 Digital Multimeter 105-R0051 or equivalent, measure the resistance of circuit 679 (GY/BK) from instrument cluster connector pin C1-16 to pin 1 of 60-pin breakout box.

- Is resistance greater than 1000 ohms?

YES -- Problem in instrument cluster.

NO -- Go to J5. J5 Check Shock Absorber Electronic System
