Auxiliary Seat Belts - Wagon

Retractor and Tongue





1. Remove nut and guide from mounting stud.
2. Hold stud stationary at the hex collar which is located behind the quarter trim panel and remove quarter trim panel.
3. Remove stowage compartment door and hinge.
4. Remove bolt and seat belt anchor from rear floor pan.
5. Remove bolt and auxiliary seat belt and retractor assembly from vehicle.
6. Remove trim bezel.
7. Remove seat belt and webbing from quarter trim panel.
8. To install, reverse removal procedure. Prior to installing nut, apply Ford Thread lock 262 E2FZ-19554-B or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSK-M2G351-A6 to stud.
9. Tighten bolts to 34-46 Nm (25-33 lb ft).
10. Tighten nut to 34-46 Nm (25-33 lb ft).
11. Tighten bolt on seat belt anchor to 17-21 Nm (13-15 lb ft).

Buckle





1. Remove stowage compartment door and hinge.
2. Remove two seat belt anchor bolts and auxiliary seat belt and buckle from rear floor pan.
3. To install, reverse removal procedure.
4. Tighten anchor bolts to 34-46 Nm (25-33 lb ft).
