Seat Belt Buckle: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove front bucket seat.
2. Remove front seat back pivot side inner cover.
3. Remove bucket seat safety belt anchor nut from front safety belt buckle end. On LH side, disconnect safety belt warning chime wire and pry locator off the seat.
4. Pull front safety belt buckle end upward to remove from seat.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Position front safety belt buckle end as shown.
2. Install anchor nut. Tighten to 34-46 Nm (25-33 lb ft).
3. Check the restraint system for proper operation.
