Pollen Filter

REMOVAL
1. From inside the vehicle, pull the hood lock release handle to release the hood.
2. Remove the four quarter turn nylon push pins retaining the RH cowl vent screen.

NOTE: Rotate the nylon push pins 90 degrees to disengage.






3. Remove the push-on clips retaining the RH cowl vent screen and remove the RH cowl vent screen from the vehicle.






4. Remove the two screws retaining the cowl top inner panel shield and remove the cowl top inner panel shield from the vehicle.






5. Remove the filter from the housing.

INSTALLATION

NOTE: The pollen/vent filter must be properly positioned in the housing.

1. Install the pollen/vent filter into the housing.
2. Install the cowl top inner panel shield with two retaining screws. Tighten the screws to 1.1-1.5 Nm (10-13 in lb).
3. Install the RH cowl vent screen.
4. Install the quarter turn nylon push pins and the push-on clips to the RH cowl vent screen.
5. Close the hood.
