Console Assembly

1. Remove beverage holder by carefully unsnapping front portion using a flat-blade screwdriver. Grasp beverage holder and unsnap from console panel.





2. Move gearshift lever to 1 position. Unsnap rear portion of console top panel using a flat-blade screwdriver. Grasp console top panel and unsnap from console center finish panel.





3. Remove two screws retaining console finish panel to console panel and remove console finish panel.





4. Remove two screws retaining console panel to console center finish panel.
5. If equipped, disconnect cellular phone lead.





6. Pull two carpet-covered kick panels at lower front of console panel to disengage push pins from bracket.





7. Remove four bolts retaining console panel to floor mounting bracket.





8. Remove two bolts retaining console panel to rear bracket.
9. Remove console panel from vehicle.
10. To install, reverse removal procedure. lighten two top bolts retaining console panel to front and rear bracket to 9-12 Nm (80-106 lb in). Tighten side mounting bolts to 9-12 Nm (80-106 lb in). Tighten top rear console finish panel retaining screws to 0.9-1.2 Nm (8-11 lb in).
