Harsh Reverse or Forward Engagement
HARSH ENGAGEMENT, FORWARD OR REVERSE1. Powertrain control system electrical inputs and outputs, wiring harnesses, Powertrain Control Module (PCM), shift solenoid No. 1, and transmission range sensor.
2. Transaxle fluid level low or contaminated.
3. Damaged CV joint or front wheel driveshaft.
4. Engine and transaxle mounts loose or damaged.
5. External or internal shift linkage damaged or out of adjustment.
6. Fluid filter and seal assembly damaged or plugged.
7. Faulty main control valve body.
8. Damaged forward clutch assembly.
9. Damaged reverse clutch assembly.
10. Damaged low/reverse clutch assembly.
11. Damaged direct clutch assembly.
