Seals and Gaskets: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove front wheels. Drain transaxle fluid into a suitable container.
2. Remove front wheel driveshaft and joint, then use converter seal remover T94P-77000-B and impact slide hammer T50T-0.00-A, or equivalents, to remove differential oil seal. Discard seal.
3. Reverse procedure to install, noting following:
a. Apply a thin film of petroleum jelly to outer diameter and lip of new oil seal.
b. Tap seal into place using output seal replacer T86P-1177-B, or equivalent.
c. Fill transaxle with fluid.
