Direct Clutch

INSPECTION
1. Wipe clutch plates clean with a lint-free cloth, then clean all other parts thoroughly with solvent and dry with compressed air.

CAUTION: Clutch plates should not be cleaned with any type of detergent solution or in a vapor degreaser.

2. Inspect spline teeth, clutch plates, seals, bushing, piston check balls, piston bore, passages, and lube holes in forward/coast/direct clutch cylinder.
