Low One-Way Clutch - With CD4E

DISASSEMBLE

Exploded View Of Low One-way Clutch:

NOTE: Refer to the Exploded View Of Low One-way Clutch image for exploded view of low one-way clutch.

1. Position low one-way clutch so that inner and outer race grooves face up, then remove inner race and roller assembly.
2. Clean all parts thoroughly in solvent, then dry with compressed air.

ASSEMBLE
1. Install roller assembly in outer race.

NOTE: Outer tabs of roller assembly must face up.

2. Install inner race.

NOTE: Groove on inner race must face up.

3. Check low one-way clutch operation as follows:
a. While holding outer race, rotate inner race clockwise from direction of installation. Inner race should rotate independently of outer race and should drag slightly.
b. Rotate inner race counterclockwise from direction of installation. Outer race should rotate with inner race.
