With Traction Control
1. Disconnect air cleaner cover, vacuum hose and loosen outlet tube clamp at throttle body. Place air cleaner components to the side.2. Remove clips from accelerator cable adjusters.
3. Pull accelerator cable housings away from adjusters to slacken cables.
4. Disconnect traction control harness connector and remove motor cover.
5. Place a 1.3 mm (0.05 inch) wire through the traction control motor pulley alignment holes. The wire should not contact the motor housing.
6. Remove cable retaining cup and cable from cable bracket at throttle body.
7. Disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle body lever.
8. Fully depress and hold the accelerator pedal and shaft with a prop tool.
9. Install the clip into the adjuster on the cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft to the traction assist motor.
10. Connect the accelerator cable to the throttle body lever.
11. Install accelerator cable housing into accelerator cable bracket and install clip.
12. Pull accelerator cable housing out of adjuster until wide open throttle at throttle body is achieved. Observe position of throttle body air valve.
13. While holding housing and adjuster in position, install adjuster clip to lock cable and adjuster.
14. Remove prop tool from accelerator pedal and shaft.
15. Remove wire from traction control motor pulleys.
16. Observe position of throttle body air valve. Air valve should be closed and accelerator cable should deflect 1-3 mm (0.04-0.12 inch) midway between accelerator cable bracket and throttle body lever.
17. Install traction control motor cover and harness connector.
18. Place air cleaner outlet tube on throttle body and air cleaner cover on air cleaner. Hook air cleaner cover clamps, install vacuum hose and tighten tube clamp.
