Fuel Rail: Description and Operation

Fuel Injection Supply Manifold:

PURPOSE
The fuel injection supply manifold delivers high-pressure fuel from the vehicle fuel supply line to the fuel injectors.

CONSTRUCTION
The fuel injection supply manifold consists of a tubular fuel rail, six fuel injector connectors, a mounting flange for the fuel pressure regulator, mounting attachments which locate the fuel injection supply manifold and provide fuel injector retention, and fuel inlet and outlet connections with push connect fittings.
