Fuel Delivery System
The fuel delivery system uses an electric fuel pump to provide high-pressure fuel to the fuel injectors. The fuel pump is located at the rear of the vehicle, mounted in the fuel tank.Fuel is delivered to the engine through a supply tube. Fuel not used by the fuel injectors during operation is routed back to the fuel tank through the fuel return tube.
The fuel tubes leading from the fuel tank to the engine are under pressure during vehicle operation. When the engine is turned OFF, the fuel in the fuel tubes remains pressurized for long periods of time to provide quick start-ups.
