2.0L ENGINE

REFER TO FOLD-OUT # 2, FOR 2.0L FUEL CHARGE HARNESS ILLUSTRATIONS

1. Disconnect the mass air flow sensor and the intake air temperature sensor connectors.

2. Remove the air cleaner box, air cleaner cover, clean air tube, resonator and throttle body cover as an assembly. The fresh air tube must be disconnected from the back side of the valve cover.

3. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

4. Disconnect the vacuum line from the tap on the intake manifold.

5. Route the engine coolant temperature sensor wiring back to the main harness casing.

6. Disconnect the idle air control solenoid, the camshaft position sensor and the throttle position sensor connectors.

7. Disconnect all fuel injector connectors.

8. Disconnect the engine control harness connector from the fuel charge harness.

9. Remove the throttle body retaining bolts, then position the throttle body aside.

10. Cover the intake manifold port with a shop towel.

11. Remove the fuel charge harness casing retaining screws, then remove the fuel charge harness.
