C1495-8: Check Resistance of Traction Control Actuator Sensor

- Turn ignition switch to the OFF position.

- Disconnect 22-pin connector at anti-lock brake control module. Leave breakout box connected to harness.

- Using Rotunda 73 Digital Multimeter 105-R0051 or equivalent with throttle at closed position, measure resistance from pin 12 to pin 11 at breakout box.

- Is resistance between 4K and 8K ohms?

YES -- Go to C1495-9. C1495-9: Check Resistance of Traction Control Return Circuit

NO -- Replace traction control actuator. Clear all DTCs. Retest system.
