C1237-5: Check Anti-Lock Brake Warning Indicator

- If connected, remove breakout box and anti-lock brake module adapter cable.

- Reconnect Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU). Make sure all connections are clean and tight.

- Start engine and observe anti-lock brake warning indicator.

- Is anti-lock brake warning indicator illuminated after 5-10 seconds?

YES -- Replace anti-lock brake relay. Go to C1237-6. C1237-6: Check Anti-Lock Brake Control Module

NO -- The fault was intermittent. The ABS and traction control system (if equipped) should be considered operational at this time and no further action required. Clear all DTCs.
