Removal and Installation

Throttle Body:

REMOVAL
1. Remove engine air intake resonators.
2. Disconnect throttle position sensor from fuel charging wiring at connector.
3. Remove accelerator cable and speed control actuator from the throttle lever and accelerator cable bracket.
4. Remove four throttle body retaining bolts.

Throttle Body:

5. Carefully separate throttle body from intake manifold and discard the gasket.
6. Remove accelerator cable bracket retainers and accelerator cable bracket.

INSTALLATION
1. Clean gasket mating surfaces.

NOTE: If scraping is necessary, be careful not to damage gasket surfaces or allow material to drop into manifold.

2. Install accelerator cable bracket. Tighten retainers to 8-12 Nm (71-106 lb in).
3. Install throttle body, new throttle body gasket and the retaining bolts to the intake manifold. Tighten retaining bolts to 8-12 Nm (71-106 lb in).
4. Connect fuel charging wiring to throttle position sensor at connector.
5. Connect accelerator cable and speed control actuator to the throttle lever and accelerator cable bracket.
6. Install engine air intake resonators.
