EGR Tube: Service and Repair
1. Remove engine intake air resonators.2. Disconnect Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) backpressure transducer sensor hoses from EGR tube.
3. Remove two retaining bolts for EGR tube from ignition coil bracket.
4. Disconnect EGR tube from EGR valve.
5. Raise vehicle on hoist.
EGR Valve Tube:
6. Disconnect EGR tube from three way catalytic converter.
7. Lower vehicle.
8. Remove EGR tube from vehicle. Separate EGR tube at connection if required.
9. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten EGR valve to tube nuts to 35-45 Nm (26-33 lb ft). Tighten retainer bolts for the EGR tube to the ignition coil bracket to 7-11 Nm (62-97 lb in).
