Powertrain Control Module
Powertrain Control Module:
DESCRIPTION
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is a microprocessor that is the center of the Electronic Engine Control-V (EEC-V) system. The PCM has a 104-pin electrical connector.
OPERATION
The PCM receives input from sensors and other electronic components (switches, relays, etc.). Based on information received and programmed into its memory (KAM, etc.), the PCM generates output signals to control various relays, solenoids and actuators.
