Oil Pick Up/Strainer: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove oil pan from engine.
2. Remove oil pump screen cover and tube nut from crankshaft main bearing cap stud bolt.

3. Remove oil pump screen cover and tube bolts from oil pump, then screen cover and tube from engine.

INSTALLATION
1. Inspect screen cover and tube and oil pump inlet tube gasket for damage and wear. Replace components as necessary.
2. Reverse procedure to install. Install new screen cover and tube support nut to crankshaft main bearing cap stud bolt.
