Lifter / Lash Adjuster: Service and Repair

1. Remove camshafts.
2. If camshafts and valve tappets are to be reused, mark tappet locations for assembly.
3. Remove valve tappets.

NOTE: If valve tappet is pitted, scored, excessively worn or if plunger is not free in body, replace tappet.

4. Reverse procedure to install.
