Pressure Feedback Exhaust Sensor: Service and Repair

Transducer:





REMOVAL
1. Disconnect fuel charging wiring connector from Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve backpressure transducer.
2. Disconnect EGR backpressure transducer hoses from EGR backpressure transducer.
3. Remove EGR backpressure transducer retaining nuts and EGR backpressure transducer from transducer mounting bracket.
4. If necessary, remove the transducer mounting bracket.

INSTALLATION
1. Reverse removal procedure.
2. If transducer mounting bracket was removed, tighten retainers for transducer mounting bracket and EGR tube heat shield to 8-12 Nm (71-106 lb in).
3. Tighten EGR backpressure transducer retaining nuts to 5-7 Nm (40-61 lb in).
