Idle Speed: Adjustments

Idle speed is controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) through the fuel injector pulse width and the idle air control valve. The throttle body and idle speed are not adjustable. Refer to Powertrain Management/Flow of Diagnosis/Testing and Inspection.
