Oil Pump: Service and Repair

1. Remove valve covers, timing cover and oil pan.
2. Remove timing chains.

3. Remove oil pump mounting bolts, then remove oil pump.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Align oil pump inner rotor with flat of crankshaft.
b. Torque oil pump attaching bolts to 6.0-8.8 ft lb.
