BRAKES - VEHICLES WITHOUT ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS), WITH 4.6L ENGINE, AND BUILT FROM 11/18/95 - CHANGED REAR BRAKES FROM DRUM TO DISC

This TSB is being republished in its entirety to correct the part number listed for the Rear Brake Rotor.

ISSUE:
The rear brakes on vehicles without Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) were changed on 11/18/95 from drum brakes to disc brakes. This was done to improve vehicle braking and customer satisfaction.

ACTION:
Service parts for the non-ABS rear disc brakes are listed in the following Part Number Chart. Front brake parts are not affected.

NOTE:
THE 3.8L, NON-ABS VEHICLES WILL CONTINUE TO USE REAR DRUM BRAKES.
