Inertia Fuel Shutoff Switch: Service and Repair

Removal and Installation
1. Open luggage compartment door.

2. Disconnect electrical connector.

3. Remove two screws retaining Inertia Fuel Shutoff switch (IFS) switch.

4. Remove inertia fuel shutoff switch.

5. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten IFS mounting screws to 0.5-1.0 Nm (4.5-8.5 lb.in.).
