Parking Brake System: Adjustments

1. Apply and release parking brake several times, then place transmission in NEUTRAL position.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Release tensioner by rotating locking lever away from threaded rod. Tensioner spring will take up slack and preload cables. Do not pull down on locking lever, as it will pull cables down and cause improper tension.
