J2 Check Pedal Sensor Switch

NOTE: If new pedal switch is installed and test D2 results in pedal switch not functioning again, power brake booster assembly must be replaced.

- Push brake pedal down at least 75 mm (3 inches) and hold down.

- Check for continuity between pedal travel switch pins 1 and 2.

- Is continuity present?

YES -- Replace anti-lock brake pedal sensor switch. Restore vehicle. Retest system.

NO -- Go to J3. J3 Check Circuits 467 and 535
