E2 - Check Wire to Front Shoulder Strap Switch

- Key OFF.

- Locate and disconnect the passive restraint control module connector C1 (driver's side inoperative) or C2 (passenger's side inoperative).

- Disconnect the front shoulder strap switch connector on the inoperative side(s) of the vehicle.

- Measure the resistance of the "Y/BL" wire (driver's side inoperative) or "BL/W" wire (passenger's side inoperative) between the passive restraint control module connector and the front shoulder strap switch connector.

- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

YES -- Go to E3. E3 - Check Front Shoulder Strap Switch Ground

NO -- Service the wire(s) in question.
