D2 - Check Wires to Rear Shoulder Strap Switch

- Key OFF.

- Locate and disconnect the passive restraint control module connector C1 (driver's side inoperative) or C2 (passenger's side inoperative).

- Disconnect the rear shoulder strap switch connector on the inoperative side(s) of the vehicle.

- Measure the resistance of the "Y/R" wire (driver's side inoperative) or "W" wire (passenger's side inoperative) between the passive restraint control module connector and the rear shoulder strap switch connector.

- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

YES -- Go to D3. D3 - Check Rear Shoulder Strap Switch

NO -- Service the wire in question.
