Inspection and Verification - Climate Control System

1. Verify customer concern by operating the climate control system.
2. Visually inspect the following components of the climate control system.
Visual Inspection Chart
Mechanical
- Refrigerant leakage
- Damaged or loose accessory drive belt
- Damaged A/C compressor
- Damaged A/C clutch
- Damaged refrigerant hose(s)
Electrical
- Blown fuse(s):
20A A/C
15A ENGINE
10A REAR WIPER
- Damaged wiring harness
- Loose or corroded connections
- Corroded blower motor relays
- Damaged blower motor switch
- Damaged mode selector switch
- Damaged A/C clutch control relay
3. Check for damage to the A/C compressor and the A/C clutch.
4. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the Symptom Chart.
