Camshaft Gear/Sprocket: Service and Repair

1. Remove timing belt.
2. Disconnect vacuum hoses from cylinder head cover, then spark plug wires from spark plugs.
3. Remove cylinder head cover and gasket.
4. Holding camshaft with a wrench, remove camshaft pulley lock bolt.
5. Remove camshaft pulley.
6. Reverse procedure to install, aligning camshaft pulley timing mark with mark on seal plate.
7. Torque camshaft pulley lock bolt to 36-45 ft lb.
