Inspection and Verification (Start Testing Here)

1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
2. Verify that the gearshift lever is in PARK.
3. Without the brake pedal being applied, verify that the gearshift lever cannot be shifted from PARK.
4. Apply the brake pedal. Verify that the gearshift lever can be shifted from PARK.
5. Shift the gearshift lever to REVERSE.
6. Verify that the ignition switch cannot be turned to the LOCK position.
7. Shift the gearshift lever to PARK.
8. Verify that the ignition switch can be turned to the LOCK position.
