Safety Recall 95S05 - Certain 1995 Model Contour and Mystique Passenger Cars for Replacement of the Right Hand Rear Door Window Class

AFFECTED VEHICLES

Certain 1995 Contour and Mystique cars built from November 21, 1994 through November 23, 1994 at the Kansas City Assembly Plant.

REASONS FOR RECALL

Some of these cars may have had glass that was not properly tempered installed in the right hand rear door. This glass may not meet one of the applicable requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 205, "Glazing Materials".

To correct this condition, dealers are to replace the right hand rear door glass on each of the affected cars.

IMPORTANT
SALE OR DELIVERY OF VEHICLES THAT DO NOT CONFORM TO APPLICABLE FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARDS MAY SUBJECT THE DEALER TO PENALTIES UNDER THE NATIONAL TRAFFIC AND MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY ACT.
