SERVICE PARTS - RETURN OF OBSOLETE FUEL TANKS

ISSUE:
F5RZ-9002-B fuel tanks may not be used for service. F5RZ-9002-B has been replaced by F5RZ-9002-C. F5RZ-9002-B should be withdrawn from your inventory immediately and returned for credit per instructions below. Use only F5RZ-9002-C for service.

ACTION:
Remove and return all F5RZ-9002-B fuel tanks from your dealership's inventory. These parts should be returned to your facing Parts Distribution Center (PDC) within 30 days of this TSB.

1. Perform 100% sort of all stock of F5RZ-9002-B fuel tanks on hand.

2. Stock of F5RZ-9002-B is unusable and should not be used.

3. Stock of F5RZ-9002-C is acceptable for use. It should be retained for normal sales.

4. Unusable stock of F5RZ-9002-B should be returned to your facing PDC using the least expensive transportation.

5. If claim is processed electronically via DOES II, use return code "GB"; otherwise, complete a separate paper claim form FPS-340 using return code "J".

6. In the Remarks Section, write Returned per TSB 95-22-11".

LIMITS

^ The returns must be received within 30 days from the date of this TSB.

^ Returns are restricted to the subject parts.

^ The parts returned must have been purchased from FCSD in accordance with Policy and Procedure Bulletin 4000.

CREDIT

Credit for parts and prepaid freight costs will be issued.

Replacement stock is available for ordering.
